Terms & Conditions

This product is a Charge Card, meaning that unlike a Credit Card balance, its balance needs to be paid in full every month. A £195 annual fee will automatically be charged to your Harrods American Express Card Account upon the opening of your Account, and thereafter annually upon the anniversary of your Account opening date.


The Harrods American Express Charge Card is offered by American Express Services Europe Limited registered office: Belgrave House, 76 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 9AX, United Kingdom. It is registered in England and Wales with Company Number 1833139 and authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Applicants must be 18 years old or over. Approval of your application for a Harrods American Express® Card Account is subject to your status.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. Qualifying customers who apply for, are approved for and activate their Harrods American Express® Card ("Card") and spend £3,000 or more on their Card within three months of Card approval, will be eligible to receive 5,000 Harrods Rewards points. Cardmembership begins from the date of Card approval. It can take up to eight weeks for the 5,000 Harrods Rewards points to be added to your Account once you have met the required spend.

2. It can take up to eight weeks for the 1,000 Harrods Rewards points to be added to your Account once your Card has been approved.

3. You must purchase goods or services at the Harrods Knightsbridge store, H beauty locations or online using your Harrods American Express Card and must enter your Harrods Rewards membership number online at the point of checkout.

4. Points are earned for every £1 spent and charged to your Card per transaction. Points are not earned on returned purchases, cash withdrawals, American Express traveller’s cheque purchases, foreign exchange, or other Account charges.

5. Cardmembers will be eligible to receive a deduction of £25 from the total cost of their bill (“Credit”) each quarter when spending £25 or more in any restaurant within the Harrods Knightsbridge store (when presenting their Harrods Rewards card and paying with their Harrods American Express Card). The Credit will be applied to the first eligible restaurant spend of £25 or more.

6. Offer valid between 10 October 2023 and 30 June 2025 for one primary Cardmember only. Offer excludes existing existing SLH CLUB 02 (Tier 2) members.

1. This offer is open to primary Harrods American Express® Cardmembers aged 18 and over (“Cardmembers”).

2. Cardmembers will be eligible to receive a deduction of £25 from the total cost of their bill ("Credit") when spending £25 or more in any restaurant within the Harrods Knightsbridge store (when presenting their Harrods Rewards card and paying with their Harrods American Express® Card).

3. The offer will be available for the Cardmember to redeem from 1st July 2023 onwards and will reset on the first day of each quarterly month (i.e. 1st January, 1st April, 1st July and 1st October). The Credit will be applied to the first eligible restaurant spend of £25 or more. The Credit will not accumulate and will expire if not used during each quarter.

4. Bookings are subject to availability and must be made by contacting the restaurant by phone, emailing [email protected] or by visiting the individual restaurant page on harrods.com. General booking terms and cancellation policies apply (please enquire at the time of booking or see the individual restaurant page on harrods.com. 5. Cardmembers should notify the Promoter of any allergy or dietary requirements at the time of booking. While the Promoter will endeavour to accommodate the allergy and dietary requirements provided, the Promoter and American Express will not be responsible for any adverse effects occurring as a result of the Cardmembers using the offer including, without limitation, any allergic reactions, or for any other loss, damage or injury suffered, sustained or incurred by the Cardmember. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms seeks to exclude liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence.

6. This Credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed, refunded, re-sold or exchanged for cash. Please note that the Credit will not be visible on Cardmembers' Harrods Rewards account statements.

1. This offer is open to all Harrods American Express® Cardmembers (“Cardmembers”) aged 18 or over, between 10th October 2023 and 30th June 2025.

2. Cardmembers who:

1. Sign up to the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (“SLH”) SLH Club loyalty programme or;

2. Are existing Club 02 (Tier 2) members of the SLH CLUB loyalty programme,

will be eligible for a complimentary upgrade to Club 02 of the SLH CLUB loyalty programme (“Membership Upgrade”).

3. Cardmembers who are newly signing up to the SLH programme must sign up via slh.com/partners/harrods-Club02-upgrade and will be automatically enrolled into the Membership Upgrade, which will show on their SLH account.

4. Cardmembers who are existing SLH Club 01 (Tier 1) members must contact the SLH team at [email protected] to request their Membership Upgrade, which will show on their SLH account within 7 working days of the request.

5. The Membership Upgrade will be valid from the date of upgrade until 31st December of the subsequent calendar year.

6. This offer excludes existing SLH Club 02 (Tier 2) loyalty members.

1. The prize draw is open to all Harrods American Express® Cardmembers (“Cardmembers”) aged 18 and over.

2. By entering this prize draw, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.Entries are restricted to one entry per primary Cardmember.

4. To enter the prize draw, entrants must make a purchase of £175 or more in a single transaction in-store at the Harrods Knightsbridge store (when using their Harrods American Express® Card) between 6th September 2024 and 31st October 2024 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

5. There will be twenty (20) winners and twenty (20) Prizes (as defined below). Each winner of the prize draw will be selected at random.

6. Each winner will be contacted by the Promoter via the phone number and email address linked to their Harrods Rewards account, within approximately three weeks following the Closing Date. The winner is required to confirm acceptance of the Prize to Harrods within 48 hours of being contacted by the Promoter. Entrants should make sure their contact details are up-to-date.

7. Should the Promoter be unable to contact any winner, or should any winner not confirm their acceptance of the Prize within the deadline, the Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to award the Prize to an alternative randomly selected entrant. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of any winner.

8. The following Prizes will be available and will be randomly allocated. Each prize draw winner will receive one Prize from the following list:

9. The Harrods 175th Anniversary Package Prize must be collected by 31st December 2024. Please refer to the vouchers for their expiry dates.

10. Transportation, accommodation and other costs associated with the Prize will not be provided by the Promoter.

11. The Promoter also accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, defaced or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, theft, destruction, communications failure or otherwise, or inability or delay to contact the winner, or entrants’ contact details which are incorrect or incomplete.

12. The Prize is as stated, non-transferable, subject to availability and cannot be exchanged for a cash equivalent or any other prize.

13. By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to their details being collected and stored by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the prize draw. The entrant and their chosen guest(s), in the event that they win, also agree to their details being collected and stored by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the Prize. 14. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes for Prizes of equivalent value should the Prizes or any one/part of the Prizes become unavailable for any reason, to cancel the prize draw and/or to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

16. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

17. This prize draw will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
