Who makes the hottest dogs in town? Jason Atherton, that’s who. With multiple Michelin stars under his belt, the British chef is putting the sizzle back into the humble classic to give us the haute dog.
Think less Coney Island, more Brompton Road. Taking his three children’s heritage as inspiration, hence Three Darlings, Atherton takes us on a culinary tour of the world. There’s the Texican with guacamole, jalapeño salsa, squeezy cheese, chipotle mayonnaise and crunchy tortilla chips; the harissa-flavoured ‘Souk’ with tahini yogurt and sour red onion (halal); and the Chorio Dog, a Filipino family favourite, with braised pork adobo, spicy mayonnaise, pickled atchara and crispy onions.
Mouth watering? There’s more. On a rotating basis, the restaurant will be rolling out the red carpet for a celebrity-endorsed dog, with proceeds donated to the A-lister’s charity of choice. Check out the menu for the latest updates.
Every gourmet dog has been made with the finest, locally sourced ingredients – and you can opt for a vegetarian sausage, if preferred. There’s also a ‘Puppy Dog’ for smaller appetites, and a range of refreshments to complete the meal. Martini or milkshake? We recommend both.
So, whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or settling in for an indulgent dinner, know this: Atherton’s menu cuts the mustard.
